Baseball is considered Americas favorite pastime, and as a result there are many idiomatic expressions which come from this great sport. If you are not familiar with baseball jargon, some very common idioms may be difficult to understand.
Hit A Home Run - means to hit a baseball so far that the batter can run around all of the bases and score a run, to reach big goal
In Full Swing - means at the peak of activity, moving fast and efficiently
